Pull up a comfy chair & meet diana and Hayden, The Jenners –the Jenners of today.
We were once a family of four: Mitch and Diana, kooky gemini-monkey soul mates & their spunky spawn, Hannah and Hayden. As those were the days long before blogging, I’ve woven those memories and tales into the fabric of this here-and-now blog. Mitch passed on to Whatever’s Next on December 3, 2000. The kids were 2 & 4, I was 32, we’d been married for 5 years. Hannah joined her father on The Other Side on February 24, 2006. She was 9.5, Hayden was 7.5, I was 37 and a widow for 5 years.
This blog began with Spinach doesn’t Cure Leukemia, as a way of collectively informing our globe-scattered loved ones about Hannah’s illness, death, and our Family’s Journey On. Our family that now includes a Norwegian Farmer (Scotty), a Fuzzy Black Dog (Charlie the Unicorn *snort* Jennerson), Ford the TomCat, Artemis the Huntress Kitty, the World’s Cutest Kitten (Spotty), Five Chickens *thus far* (named for Dr. Who companions: Rose Tyler, Donna Noble, River Song, Martha Jones & Harriet Jones, MP of Flydale North).
Hannah’s continued ripples, through her ash distribution, are documented at Hannah’s Ashes.
